Dry Skin – Pointers For Milk Relief Soap Users

Dry Skin – pointers for users of Milk Relief Soap
boxed oval bar of Milk Relief Soap™ (70 g) and a small jar of Green Gear Balm (30 ml).

I’ll uncover a word of caution we sent to a client. I thought you may like to read it too.

What we find from experience is that some customers can get very enthusiastic at the start and overuse the soap which could result in drier skin, especially if they stop using their normal cream/moisturiser suddenly.

It is true that a lot of people can get away with not putting any moisturiser on after a wash with Milk Relief Soap™; however, Milk Relief Soap™ is a soap purely created for washing skin effectively without irritating sensitive skin, so a moisturiser is still needed if your skin is very dry.

A very good moisturiser we recommend is pure virgin coconut oil. Coconut oil is naturally anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-microbial, so it will help if your skin is breaking out.

Pointers about Virgin Coconut Oil and skin

The key with coconut oil is to use a small amount often, as it is absorbed into skin very quickly. Also to avoid getting it into eyes.

If you already have the moisturiser that works well for you and you like, you should continue to use it as needed.

Sometimes the skin seems to get worse for a time but improves thereafter, after Milk Relief Soap™ has had a chance to take effect. (At least a week.)

Please understand that we are not able to give any medical/therapeutic advice, so what we’ve stated above is for reference only.

Introducing another product we developed for skin

Lano Relief Skin Stick™
Pure NZ Lanolin + Manuka Oil at your fingertips, without the gooey mess or unpleasant smell!

Net 13g approx. This unique skin stick comes in a small oval tube, like a mini deodorant stick. Ideal size for your pocket or handbag. A skin stick is also sometimes referred to as solid moisturiser or hard lotion.

Lanolin comes from sheep’s wool. It’s the natural oil that coats sheep’s wool and helps the sheep to keep dry when it rains. It is completely sustainable, as the wool grows back quickly. You can learn more here, at
